Sadzenie bylin różni się nieco od sadzenia drzew czy krzewów ze względu na ich charakter i potrzeby, ale podstawowe zasady są podobne. Oto jak prawidłowo posadzić byliny:


1. Wybór miejsca:
  • Byliny mają różne wymagania dotyczące światła, więc wybierz miejsce zgodne z zapotrzebowaniem danej rośliny (słońce, półcień, cień).
  • Zadbaj o odpowiednią glebę – niektóre byliny preferują glebę wilgotną, inne suchą, lekką lub ciężką.


2. Przygotowanie gleby:
  • Przed sadzeniem dobrze jest przekopać glebę, aby ją napowietrzyć i usunąć chwasty. Dodaj kompost lub inny materiał organiczny, aby wzbogacić glebę w składniki odżywcze.


3. Sadzenie:
  • Jeśli sadzisz z doniczki:
    • Wyjmij roślinę z doniczki, delikatnie rozluźniając korzenie.
    • Wykop dół, który jest nieco szerszy i głębszy niż bryła korzeniowa.
  • Jeśli sadzisz z gołym korzeniem:
    • Zanurz korzenie w wodzie na kilka godzin przed sadzeniem.
    • Wykop dół odpowiedniej wielkości dla systemu korzeniowego.
  • Ustaw roślinę na dnie dołu, rozkładając korzenie, tak aby znajdowały się na tym samym poziomie, na którym były w doniczce lub w ziemi.
  • Wypełnij dół ziemią, lekko ugniatając wokół korzeni, aby nie było pustych przestrzeni. Nie ubijaj zbyt mocno.


4. Podlewanie:
  • Dobrze podlewaj po posadzeniu, aby osadzić glebę wokół korzeni i zapewnić wodę na start.
  • Przez pierwsze kilka tygodni regularnie podlewaj, aby pomóc roślinie zakorzenić się, ale unikaj zalewania.


5. Mulczowanie:
  • Rozłóż warstwę mulczu wokół bylin, aby zatrzymać wilgoć, zmniejszyć wzrost chwastów i chronić korzenie przed zmianami temperatury. Mulcz powinien mieć grubość około 5 cm, ale nie dotykaj nim bezpośrednio łodyg roślin.


6. Odstępy między roślinami:
  • Pamiętaj o odpowiednim rozstawieniu bylin w zależności od ich dojrzałego rozmiaru. Wiele bylin się rozprzestrzenia, więc daj im miejsce na rozwój.


7. Pielęgnacja:
  • W pierwszym roku uważnie obserwuj rośliny pod kątem potrzeb wodnych i zdrowia. W razie potrzeby stosuj nawozy, ale z umiarem, aby nie zaszkodzić roślinom.
  • Usuwaj chwasty, które mogą konkurować z bylinami o wodę i składniki odżywcze.


8. Przycinanie (jeśli konieczne):
  • Niektóre byliny wymagają przycinania po posadzeniu lub w pierwszym roku, aby stymulować wzrost lub usunąć uszkodzone części rośliny.


Pamiętaj, że różne gatunki bylin mogą mieć specyficzne wymagania, więc zawsze warto przeczytać etykietę lub zapoznać się z informacjami na temat danej rośliny
